Sandra Vanatko has been offering the Advanced 300-Hour Training Program at Indra’s Grace since 2015. She is passionate about sharing the deeper aspects of Yoga and using it as a transformative tool for self and others. She loves supporting students to become empowered, conscious, compassionate guides of Yoga. She is very invested in her 300-hour trainees so prefers to keep the 300-hour training smaller (than the 200-hour training group). This allows her to be more hands-on and available to mentor this group as they take on the leadership role of mentoring the 200-hour trainees.
She is interested in empowering 300-hour trainees in their teaching. She also wants to support students in first finding a steady and refined Sadhana (home practice). Sandra is also invested in supporting 300-hour trainees in finding their natural voice as a teacher, their specific passion and natural gifts of sharing Yoga. Sandra has a knack for seeing the wholeness and potentiality of students and helping them get in touch with this themselves. She is also deeply committed to helping her 300-hour teachers to feel confident in taking on one-on-one therapeutic sessions with clients. There is a lot of specific focus in this training in how to apply yoga therapeutics. So many people today seek Yoga for stress relief, anxiety, depression, and more. It is important to Sandra that advanced teachers be proficient when working with this growing population of students.
Students of this training audit the 200-hour training sessions and take on leadership roles, mentoring roles, and additional responsibilities that allow them to discover what they don’t know and refine what they do know!
There is a deeper focus on pranayama and its application in this training. There is also a deeper focus on the meditative aspects of Yoga in this training.
Sandra is looking for truth seekers, those that are passionately curious about Yoga and sharing its benefits with the world around them. She is calling on teachers that want to go further and reach wider in the sharing of this transformative practice. This training is for serious students that want to commit to a deeper understanding of all aspects of Yoga. This program is a complete immersion into all aspects of yoga teaching.
Students in this program will take active leadership roles at Indra’s Grace and in the 200-hour teacher training program. Not only are teachers refining their ability to teach students, but they are beginning to step into the role of teaching teachers. It is one skill set to practice Yoga. It is another skill set to teach Yoga to students. And it’s a completely new skill set to teach other Yoga teachers how to teach Yoga. At each level we must refine our ability to share and our ability to pass the teachings forward.
This training is by application only and for students that already have their 200-hour certification. It is also desirable to have an aspiration to expand the way you teach yoga. You will develop the ability to be intuitive, accessible to all levels and infuse your classes with pranayama, presence practice, and meditation. This training incorporates all aspects of the teachings including asana, pranayama, mindfulness, and meditation.
Students will also take on a weekly private appointment with someone that has a chronic condition – under the direct supervision of Sandra – to support their learning process. Teachers will gain confidence and learn to toss lesson plans and teach intuitively to what is present from their knowing, their training, and their unique individual skill set.
You will be invited to explore and develop into the places that challenge you to become a more expanded, authentic, whole version of yourself. Sandra’s goal is to help you uncover the empowered teacher that you already are!
Students that complete this program receive an advanced 300-hour certification from Indra’s Grace and are eligible to receive their RYT-500 certification through Yoga Alliance.
Applications will be reviewed and applicants will go through an interview process. Our next program begins January 2021.
All times are CST and all meeting will be facilitated via Zoom.
In addition to the dates listed above, 300-Hour Trainees will also meet once a month for 4-hour sessions. These dates and times will be set as the group comes together.
Your tuition covers course fees, yoga teacher training manual and a 40 class pass to be used during YTT. If you sign up before December 10, 2020 you will receive an unlimited pass instead of a 60 class pass as a bonus! Your reading list is separate and not included in the cost of this program.

My passion for Yoga and its profound effects in my own life inspired to me to open Indra’s Grace in 2010. After the sweet loving nudges of students desiring a more in-depth learning experience I developed Indra’s Grace teacher training programs in 2012. We continually update and refine these offerings to bring you the most high quality experience possible. It is truly my greatest joy to offer this program. There is nothing more satisfying than to sit with others that love yoga and explore these teachings together. Our teacher training program is the heart of Indra’s Grace.
My mission is to empower students with yogic tools to support them to live their most awake and fulfilling lives. I love to see students have a variety of practices to support their well-being, to be able to self-regulate, and self manage their mind and emotions, and awaken awareness to move beyond the chains of ego consciousness. I have realized through offering this program several times that the best learning format is complete immersion. Expect to be immersed in all aspects of Yoga for seven-months held by the sangha. My intention is for you to have your own personal experience of the power of Yoga and the only way that can be done is through direct experience. My intention is to offer a safe set and setting, and support system for self exploration, self-inquiry, and learning.
Through your seven-month journey you will be better equipped to serve as a guide to future students. Dedicated students make excellent Yoga teachers! If you approach this program whole-heartedly you will come out transformed. Through your own experience you will be a power-filled teacher for others! You will share from your personal experience. There is a place for everyone in this training. I am calling all seekers, movers and shakers, all those that want to be a light in the world, the children of the earth that want to make a difference and help heal the planet. I want to serve as a guide in flowering consciousness in a way that will serve you and all those around you. You will learn tools for healthy living and become a more balanced individual. I hope you might choose to embark on a journey of a lifetime.
I’m so honored and excited to be a part of the Indra’s Grace teacher training program again this year. I completed my 200-hour teacher training with Sandra at Indra’s Grace in 2013 and am so delighted to have been involved with the teacher trainings in some capacity since then. In 2014, I received my 500-hour teacher training certification from Sondra Loring and Raghunath Cappo at Sadhana Yoga in Hudson, New York.
My 200-hour training at Indra’s Grace was focused on the fundamentals of traditional, Hatha yoga including a rich and thorough coverage of Pranayama and the subtle and sometimes understated aspects of the yoga practice. My 500-hour training was focused on the Vinyasa style of yoga with a strong emphasis on philosophy, in the form of studying the ancient yoga texts; Bhakti, the yoga of devotion; and Naad yoga, the yoga of sound including chanting, mantra and harmonium. My teaching style is a light-hearted blend of all of these elements.
My goal is to effectively translate my experiences with teaching in different environments and studying a variety of styles of yoga into something useful and beneficial for students going through the teacher training program at Indra’s Grace.
“The Indra’s Grace Advanced 300 YTT was life changing for me. I felt like I had a good foundational knowledge and skillset coming in with my 200hr certification, but IG’s 300hr training filled gaps that I didn’t even realize existed. The very first weekend it became clear to me that I was going to be learning many new things, but what I didn’t anticipate was the personal growth and discovery I would experience along the way. From the asana and pranayama to the principles & application of yoga on and off the mat- I couldn’t get enough. Sandra and Jenny not only teach these practices, they embody them. Their authenticity and pure light permeates every component of the training, which allowed me to feel safe to be my own vulnerable, authentic self too. After completing the Advanced YTT, I feel more prepared, knowledgeable, confident, and centered in my own being and purpose in yoga. I will always be grateful.”
“I couldn’t have imagined a more impactful 300 hour advanced training. What I’ve gleaned amidst this training will be forever unfolding through my daily practice, exploration, and curiosity. I love the words of Rupert Spira and these specific words from him describe this training for me in almost totality, “First know yourself as the experiencer of the experienced, then as experiencing itself.” If you are in any way, shape, or form considering a 300 hour yoga training, I fully recommend Indra’s Grace.”
“I am very grateful for all my experiences during my 300-hour training with Sandra Vanatko at Indra’s Grace. I had the opportunity to work one on one with a student for ten months addressing her particular issues while Sandra and my fellow students offered suggestions, support, information and encouragement. This one aspect of the course was life changing for me. I recognized the teacher in myself and I hadn’t known she was there! The structure of the course was unique and especially rewarding. Sandra and Jenny Reitz were available to the 500 hour students as our mentors. Our 500 hour group was available to the 200 hour students as mentors and in family groups. This situation gave us the opportunity to practice what we were being taught. We spent a lot of time studying an amazing variety of coursework. And we had many opportunities to teach in our individual areas of interest. And we had fun! I highly recommend this course. I loved every minute and was really quite sad when it was over.”
