The set and settings will allow you to dive deep into a week of self exploration, healing, connection with new and familiar friends, communion with nature and the elements, all designed to nourish your body, mind, and soul.
About the Retreat
The pandemic has tried and tested us over the last two years. Many of us have felt isolated unable to come together in the ways that nourish us. Isolation can create a sense of loneliness, separation, anxiety, and depression if we are not aware of the greater connection that is always already right here. Sandra will guide you through practices that will allow you to reconnect to the deep heart. The entry point that bridges to the greater heart where we can feel connection and unity that is always present. You will explore practices of embodiment, grounding, safety, opening to your intuition and strength all held in the perfect set and setting.
I purposefully chose a smaller luxury retreat center this year to give us an extra sense of holding to create the perfect setting for the absolute best experience possible. I wanted to intentionally create a very nourishing and intimate environment that would help heal the wounds of separation and isolation over the past two years. We will be sharing a gorgeous home in the mountains of Costa Rica with incredibly breathtaking spacious rooms and views. We will be eating our meals together, sharing rooms with one another, and dive into practices that will bring back a feeling and knowing of community, connection, and unity that is enriching to our spirits.

Casas Kismet is a boutique retreat center and vacation rental property located in the Guanacaste Peninsula, home to one of the five blue zones in the world. People in blue zones are known for living longer, happier, healthier lives than the average person. On your journey to Casas Kismet we want you to revitalize your mind, body and soul.
We are located in Nosara, a quiet surf town known for its world class surf breaks. We are a 2.5 hour drive from Libera airport and are nestled on top of a quiet ridge in Playa Pelada. We have created this exclusive space in the jungle that allows for you to come and immerse yourself in nature.

Deposit $750
All payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferrable. The entirety of any amount paid for the retreat is not refundable or transferrable to other retreats and there are no exceptions, rescheduling or refunds due to cancellations for any reason.
Food
Your personal gourmet chef serves fresh (organic, when available) vegan/vegetarian, gluten/dairy-free meals made from scratch. All meals are served in a lovely open air dining room, with a grand vista of the gardens, pool and mountains and sea. Yogurt, milk, butter and locally baked breads are available for those not avoiding gluten or dairy. Meals are carefully planned to be climate appropriate and you will never feel weighed down from food that’s too heavy, but you will leave the table satiated. Three vegetarian meals are included each day (except Thursday dinner in which we will head to La Luna for sunset and dinner). Coffee/tea and fruit are always available. Vegan-friendly and gluten-free options are plentiful. Additional special dietary needs can be accommodated upon advance request. Chicken or fish may also be added to up to three meals at an additional cost. Wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks are available for an extra charge too.
Transportation and Travel Information
Transportation
A Shuttle Package is available for an additional $150 per person for the whole week and includes airport transfers to and from the airport. Plus: 3 daily opportunities to join a round trip group shuttle which can include trips to the beach, meals, excursions, shopping, etc. between the hours of 6am-10pm. This is an amazing value!
Travel and Arrival
- A valid passport is required and must be valid at least six months after the date of travel (May 2023).
- It’s highly recommended to obtain travel insurance.
- See up-to-date Entry Requirements for Costa Rica.
- Vaccinated and unvaccinated guests are welcome.
- Two weeks prior to departure for the retreat you must supply your up-to-date flight information if you’d like to be picked-up at the Liberia International Airport.
- Plan to arrive before 3:15 pm on Saturday to Liberia International. You will proceed through immigration and customs and then retrieve your luggage. You will be greeted by AHKí transportation and taken to the retreat center which is approximately two hours away.
- Plan to fly out of Liberia International Airport after 1 pm on departure Saturday.
- Our retreat starts after dinner on Saturday, November 5.
COVID/Cancellation Information:
It is collectively understood that all reservations now are being made during a pandemic where unpredictability abounds. If you book a trip during a pandemic, you assume the risk. That being said, whether you have been vaccinated or not, we urge all retreaters to obtain CFAR travel insurance (Cancel For Any Reason). Click HERE to get a direct quote.
Ahki Retreat is an intimate small retreat center. Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 at any time during their stay, must relocate to another dwelling to fulfill quarantine. We recommend the Hilton Garden Inn near the CIMA hospital in Libera, in the event that medical care is needed. With our strict no-refund policy, we are highly suggesting CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) travel insurance.
To secure your spot, please fill out the Registration Form and then send the required $750 non-refundable deposit per person to reserve your space for this retreat. Your registration will not be complete until these two steps are done.
Payments can be made to Indra’s Grace in the form of cash, check, or PayPal with PayPal being the preferred method. If you pay with PayPal, please add 3% for the processing fee. Please send your paypal payment to Sandra Vanatko (sandra.vanatko@gmail.com). The remaining payment balance of the retreat package you choose is due by July 5, 2022. If space is available and you are registering after July 5, payment in full is required at the time of registration. All payments are non-refundable. Prices do not include airfare or transportation.
Please Note: Retreat payments are non-transferrable, specific to the retreat, and cannot be used toward a different Indra’s Grace Retreat.
