Meet Dr. Robyn Young

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Robyn Young to the Indra’s Grace teaching team! Dr. Robyn is teaching Beginner Yoga on Tuesdays at 6:30pm.

Let’s learn a little more about Robyn:

Robyn is a medical oncologist and Director of the Breast Cancer Center at The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Her role is to manage people with breast cancer. She treats the whole body – not just localized disease in the breast – with different treatments and targeted therapies. She also counsels women with high risk of developing breast cancer based on different risk factors. Read more about Robyn’s professional role here

As if her credentials were not already impressive, Robyn is an RYT-200 and graduate of the 2021 Indra’s Grace Yoga Teacher Training Program. She has been practicing yoga since 2010 and teaching for us since January 2022. Robyn is passionate about teaching how yoga can be gentle and relaxing and how people do not have to be athletes to do yoga – everyone can benefit from the practice.

She weaves a little science into her classes and offers a gentle, relaxing, fun, and informative experience. You don’t have to have any previous yoga experience at all and yet, even people who have done yoga for years can benefit from this class.

Fun Fact: Robyn is a true animal lover and has dogs and cats at home.

Join Robyn for Beginner Yoga on Tuesday nights at 6:30pm – in-person, live online, and on-demand!
