Health and Safety Information

For over 40 years, Mar de Jade’s mission has been in service of the health and wellbeing of our community. During these times of  COVID-19, we are equally committed to ensuring the safety of our staff and visitors. At the start of the pandemic we closed our doors for over 4 months and during this time have dedicated ourselves to researching, designing and implementing an enhanced hygiene and safety protocol in line with the latest information released by the Mexican Health Authorities and the World Health Organization. Upon review of our protocol and extensive staff training, we have been granted the WTTC’s Safe Travels stamp, and official approval by the Nayarit State Government and the Mexican Health & Social Services Institute (IMSS) to re-open.

Vaccines

We are happy to report that the vaccine rollout in Mexico has now been extended to all adults (18 yrs+) and all of our staff is fully vaccinated. We highly recommend guests be fully vaccinated before traveling. Although vaccines are encouraged – both vaccinated and non-vaccinated guests are welcome. Thank you for doing your part to help keep everyone safe.

Covid Test No Longer Required to Re-Enter US

The CDC is announced that the Order requiring persons to show a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before boarding a flight to the United States, will be rescinded, effective on June 12, 2022 at 12:01AM ET.

This means that starting at 12:01AM ET on June 12, 2022, air passengers will not need to get tested and show the COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 prior to boarding a flight to the U.S.

Travel Insurance

As of 2021, there is no legal requirement to purchase travel insurance in order to visit Mexico. No one will ask you to show proof of insurance at the border, and the Mexican government does not mandate travelers to have insurance. However, we do highly encourage you to purchase travel insurance which can include trip cancellation protection, flight cancellation, rental car protection, emergency medical coverage, and theft protection as Indra’s Grace and Mar de Jade are not responsible for any of these things.

How to Register

Two Steps to Register:

1. Fill out the Registration Form
2. Send your deposit

This retreat will sell out quickly. To secure your spot, please fill out the Registration Form and then send the required $750 non-refundable deposit ($777 if paying via PayPal) per person to reserve your space for this retreat. Your registration will not be complete until these two steps are done.

Payments can be made to Indra’s Grace in the form of cash, check, or PayPal. If you pay with PayPal, you must add 3.5% for the processing fee. Please send your paypal payment to Sandra Vanatko (sandra.vanatko@gmail.com).  The remaining payment balance of the retreat package you choose is due by November 13, 2023. If space is available and you are registering after November 13, payment in full is required at the time of registration.  All payments are non-refundable. Prices do not include airfare or transportation. Please purchase travel insurance for your investment. Indra’s Grace is not responsible for any changes in your travel plans.
