For the past few years, I’ve had the gift of returning to Chacala, Mexico—a small, sacred village tucked along the Pacific coast—where I teach somatic yoga in a deeply immersive, in-community setting.
These gatherings are different than a typical retreat. They’re intimate, intentional, and centered around deep presence, relationship, and the power of shared practice.
In Chacala, I don’t just teach technique—I guide students into somatic awareness. We explore nervous system regulation, trauma-informed teaching, and how to feel safe and at home in the body through yoga.
Somatic yoga is less about form and more about feeling. It’s about reconnecting to your body from the inside out, listening with curiosity, and honoring the pace of your own system.
There’s something powerful about learning these tools in a place that invites stillness. In Chacala, the practice comes alive in the way we breathe, listen, and connect—not just on the mat, but everywhere.
I’m honored to be invited back again and again, and I look forward to continuing this work with a new group soon.
