I’m so honored and excited to be a part of the Indra’s Grace teacher training program again this year. Since completing my 200-hour teacher training with Sandra at Indra’s Grace in 2012, I have been deeply involved with our teacher training programs. In 2014, I furthered my studies with a 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training program at Sadhana Yoga in Hudson, NY, focusing on Vinyasa and Bhakti yoga.
My 200-hour training at Indra’s Grace was rooted in the fundamentals of traditional Hatha yoga, providing a rich and thorough coverage of Pranayama and the subtle, often understated aspects of the yoga practice. The advanced 300-hour training at Sadhana Yoga focused on the practice of Vinyasa yoga and deepened my understanding and practice, emphasizing the philosophy of ancient yoga texts, Bhakti—the yoga of devotion, and Naad yoga, which includes chanting, mantra, and harmonium. Additionally, I have studied Transforming Emotional Suffering with RAIN under the guidance of meditation teacher Tara Brach, focusing on self-compassion. My holistic approach to wellness is also supported by my training as a Reiki Master and CranioSacral Level 1 Practitioner.
My journey has been one of integrating the spiritual and soulful tools I have learned through yoga into life off the mat. I weave self-compassion into my teaching and everyday life, believing it to be the cornerstone of personal and communal transformation. My goal is to translate these experiences into practical, beneficial guidance for students, helping them cultivate self-compassion and kindness in their daily lives. It is my heartfelt desire that the knowledge and compassion cultivated through our training programs will ripple out, creating positive change in the world.

She brings an experience with these teachings that allows students to more palpably understand how the human body systems, mind, and emotions are interwoven and how each one supports the other.
